Is the company, dealer or broker who is listing/selling your used fire truck in magazines and on their web site paying you $500/month to have the exclusive listing? If not, then you really need to write to them or call them TODAY, to either have them start paying you immediately (and $500 for every month past 60 days), or to release you from any exclusive listing agreement which is longer than 60 days. Is your used fire truck "broker" living up to their name, because all they are doing is making you and your fire department more and more broker? If you have an exclusive listing with a company, dealer, broker, or web site, and they've not sold your used fire truck within 60 days, then you are giving them the complete and exclusive use of your assets to make money, while you are left paying all of the bills (insurance, maintenance, housing costs, etc.). How smart is that? After you answer this question, then consider that each and every month your fire truck sits unsold in your bay, you have to add $500 to your asking price (because of your continued costs), when your asking price may be too high in the first place, because you have to add 10% for the broker/dealer, who hasn't sold your truck in months or years and the truck only continues to lose value from your already inflated asking price. How dumb is this? Is your your current broker, agent or dealer just using your truck as an example, along with many other fire trucks they can't sell or don't even have, and then selling another similar truck for someone else (or for themselves), where they are making more money and all your truck was nothing more than a higher priced comparable, used to sell a fire truck where the dealer/broker made more money than the 10% they are charging you? How stupid is doing this month, after month, after month, and paying to pay/lose hundreds of dollars/month to continue to do it; while your truck sits losing you more and more money continuously? If a dealer/broker with an exclusive listing agreement has not sold your used fire truck, shouldn't they pay the bills they are costing you, because of their failure and/or lack of true desire (and in some cases trucks have been listed for years) to do so? After you decide you are tired of paying the bills for some fire truck dealer/broker (who over-prices fire trucks to try to get rich) and you really wish to sell your used fire truck, rather than continuing to invest in it to lose more and more money every day, you need to do the following: 1. Get them to agree to pay you $500/month for each month they continue to have an exclusive listing for your used fire truck, or. 2. Advise them without this monthly payment, the exclusive listing agreement is null and void. 3. Upon either getting them to send you $500 immediately (and $500 for each month past 60 days) or releasing you from the exclusive listing agreement (which they'll probably do quickly) then if you are really wanting, eager and needing to sell your used fire truck, simply use our FREE online form to begin the process of selling your used fire truck today! |
